Dead Eyes

Dead Eyes… They can’t see you and they don’t want to rise. Its peaceful here. Let these eyes stay in the ground. You can control what you hear but not what you see. They’re buried now so deep. Nothing but darkness surround these dead eyes. They can’t see you and they can’t see me. These dead eyes are laid to rest. Hope you can find happiness knowing what can no longer be seen. These eyes once had a glow, use to wonder, use to know.. No ending.. No beginning.. No stopping.. No finishing.. Every memory once present is now nonexistent.. Vanished without a trace.. Completely erased .. Every image that meant so much.. Locked away in a distant place. Untouchable beyond these dead eyes.
